Jean-Paul De Roover
Artist Information Biography With an innovative approach to music, Jean-Paul De Roover is much more than a one man band: he plays everything, and right before your very eyes and ears. With the assistance of live looping, as well as various effects, multiple guitars and layers of vocals, Jean-Paul will have you second guessing yourself and wondering if you really heard what you just did. One could compare Jean-Paul's approach to one of a visual artist. However, instead of admiring the finished product, this self proclaimed 'Sonic Architect' revels in the journey he takes you on over the course of a performance.
Beginning with dead silence, his performance could lead anywhere, to full a capella harmonies, to rhythmic tribal beats, to orgiastic sonic explosions, to a noise layered world of ambient rock, or anything in between.
"Once you’ve seen him perform once, you can't help but love his music. His unique style combines live guitar playing, voice and percussion with synthesized sound filters and bizarre electronic effects...It is hard to capture such a unique performance as delivered by Jean-Paul De Roover...he has created a music genre of his own and his talent and creativity never cease to impress and amaze"

In aim of making this dream a reality, she's inviting the local community to come out and support her in her mission of connection through music and mindfulness.
Steve Perron
